PublishGate Rescue is a file-correction service for KDP authors, operated by ESTUA (Canada). These terms describe what the service does, how admission and payment work, and the limits of what we promise.
We correct technical file errors in Amazon KDP paperback files — one interior or one cover per case — that were rejected at the KDP Print Previewer. The published scope is:
Out of scope: content, rights, or account rejections are never eligible; hardcover files; and rewriting, editing, or redesigning your book.
For each case, you receive the corrected PDF and a change report listing the findings, the corrections applied, and the checks re-run on the corrected file.
Eligibility is assessed on the basis of your rejection proof and book details, and is decided in writing before any payment. That written decision is final: there is no second eligibility check after payment, and no exclusion after the fact. If your case is out of scope, the sale is refused — you are never charged for a case we cannot take.
No payment link is published anywhere. A personal payment link is sent only with a written admission, together with the request for your complete file.
The price is $39 CAD per eligible case, flat. There is no subscription. Payment is made through Stripe, using the personal link included in your admission reply.
If, despite the admission documents, the actual file turns out to be outside the published scope, we refund you in full before doing any work.
By submitting a file, you warrant that you hold the rights to it. Your manuscript stays yours: files are used only to process your case, and are deleted as described in the privacy policy — no later than 30 days after your case is closed.
Our liability in connection with a case is limited to the amount paid for that case ($39 CAD).
PublishGate Rescue is currently running as a time-limited 30-day pilot test, so that quality can be verified case by case.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the laws of Canada applicable there. They are written in plain language.
