PublishGate Rescue

Privacy policy

PublishGate Rescue is a file-correction service for KDP authors, operated by ESTUA (Canada). This policy explains what information we receive, what we use it for, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it.

These pages are hosted by Cloudflare. This page itself collects nothing: no forms, no cookies, and no tracking scripts. The only information we ever receive is what you choose to send us by email.

What we receive

When you request admission (by email): your email address, the KDP rejection notice you send us (the Print Previewer error or the rejection email), and your book details — title, paperback trim size, page count, and whether the rejected file is the interior or the cover. We do not ask for your book file at this stage.
Only if your case is admitted: the complete book file you send us (interior or cover PDF), so that we can correct it.
Payment: payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive, see, or store your card number or any other payment-card details.

Why we use it

Your information is used only to run your case: to assess eligibility and give you a written decision, to perform the correction and produce your change report, and to communicate with you about your case. It is used for nothing else.

How long we keep it

Your source file and the corrected file are deleted no later than 30 days after your case is closed.
Admission emails are deleted no later than 30 days after the pilot test ends.
You may ask for your information to be deleted at any time, without waiting for these periods — see “Your rights” below.

Sharing

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing. The service relies on two providers: Stripe, which processes payments, and Cloudflare, which hosts these pages. Your book file is used only to process your case.

Your rights

You may contact us at any time at admissions@publishgate.ca to access the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion.
